Comments from Tigana: 27.04.2007 / 18.37 Following our 1-1 semifinal replay tie with league leader Fenerbahçe that sent us to the Fortis Turkish Cup Final, our Technical Director Jean Tigana made these comments:
We reached the Final in Fortis Turkish Cup 27.04.2007 / 18.36 Despite trailing 1-0 at the end of regulation time, our Football Team went on to even the score in extra time against arch rival Fenerbahçe and succeeded in reaching the Final of Fortis Turkish Cup. Our lone goal was scored by Mert Nobre in the 102nd minute of the game. Black& Whites will now face Kayseri Erciyesspor in the Final.
