After losing 2-0 to Kayserispor, our Technical Director Ertuğrul Sağlam made these comments regarding the game:

“This was one of our toughest away games this season. If we won here today, we would be turning another significant corner in our championship race. Coming into the game, we knew it would not be easy because the pitch is usually terrible at this time of the year. More than our rival, the pitch defeated us. We couldn’t manage to stand and play as we want. Anyhow, it was a serious blow, but since we still have 13 games to play, we will make up for it in our future games. However, if we want to be a champion and make our fans happy, we must work harder and increase our desire to win. I am not going to blame our loss on the absence of Bobo and Cisse. Due to bad pitch we lost most of our one-on-one situations. Since they knew the pitch better than us, they had higher motivation and we couldn’t keep up with them. Our team is made up of players with high technical skills and they are not used to playing on these type of poor pitches.”
