Today; it is the 104th anniversary of the opening of Turkish parliament where the sovereignty of our nation is first established.  The Turkish Grand National Assembly has been standing tall for the past 104 years as the symbol of the unity and solidarity of Turkish nation. 

The fact that this important day has also been observed  as a children’s holiday is a testament  to the value we attach to our children.  In line with Ataturk's goal of raising Türkiye to the level of contemporary civilizations, we will continue to work with all our strength to ensure that our children can grow up as individuals who are beneficial to their society and sensitive to issues that concern all humanity.
