Visiting Black Eagles started their away Super League fixture uncharacteristically sluggish but gained an important advantage when the ejection of Edin Visca reduced Trabzonspor to ten men after 13 minutes. Ironically, a header from Okay Yokuşlu put the short-handed home side 1-0 in front four minutes later. Beşiktaş recovered eventually and levelled the matters through Gedson Fernandes’ classy finish before the half time.
