Black Eagles started their away game slower of two sides but managed to take the lead after 20 minutes, through Gedson Fernandes’ close-range finish. Ten minutes later, Captain Cenk Tosun converted a clever pass from Vincent Aboubakar with a soft touch to double the visitors’ advantage. It was 2-0 for Beşiktaş at half-time. At the outset of the second half, striker Aboubakar drilled home from inside the box to give the Black Eagles a comfortable three-goal cushion. Late goals from Aytaç Kara and Ryan Donk offered some consolation and hope to home team Kasımpaşa, but Tayfur Bingöl and veteran Atiba Hutchinson teamed up to hit the back of the net two more times in the dying minutes and put the match away for Beşiktaş, who now have won eight straight games.
