In their last match of the season, Beşiktaş went ahead with young striker Güven Yalçın after 10 minutes, but Kasımpaşa responded through Haris Hajradinovic 3 minutes later. Thanks to back-to-back goals, the promising Güven Yalçın managed to regain the lead for the Black Eagles in the closing minutes of the opening half and register his first Super League hat-trick. At the outset of the second half, Kasımpaşa pulled one back through Bangal Koita to make it 3-2, but Beşiktaş weathered the storm and held on to win. The victory gave the Eagles a third-place finish in the Super League table and earned them a group-stage berth in next season's Europa League.
