Beşiktaş GAİN Men's Basketball Team player Jonah Mathews, who was injured in the second game of the Turkish Super League final series against Fenerbahçe, suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon. The Black Eagle underwent a underwent a successful repair surgery at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital today. The Head of Beşiktaş Medical Prof. Dr. Kerem Ülkü performed the surgery. 
 
Jonah Mathews is expected to begin his rehabilitation programme as soon as possible.
