As the first and oldest official Turkish sports club, Beşiktaş JK continues to provide women with opportunities to engage in a variety of sports.

In addition, they represented Turkiye in the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games and became the first Turkish female athletes to participate in the Olympic Games. Halet Çambel, who worked as a lecturer at universities for many years after leaving sports, is also known as Turkiye's first female professor.
Beşiktaş will remain committed to to train female athletes in its active sports on a competitive basis.
With this opportunity, Beşiktaş would like express its gratitude to women, who have been a driving force in Club’s history, for their contributions to Beşiktaş over the years.
Happy March 8th International Women’s Day to all working women in Turkiye and around the world!
