Beşiktaş’ Italian midfielder Cher Ndour was the guest of Beşiktaş YouTube and  answered questions:

-Why did you choose Beşiktaş?

"Beşiktaş is one of the greatest clubs in Europe and has passionate fans.  For me, it's an honor to play here and show my football to the world. When the Club Chairman and  Head Coach expressed their confidence in me, I thought Beşiktaş was a good option for me." 

-What do you know about Istanbul? 

"Even though I've been here for only two days,  the city and the stadium looks beautiful. So far, everything is going well." 

-What position do you to play?

 "I see myself best at number 8 position, but I can play anywhere in midfield.”  

-What do you think of your new coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst? 

"I like his understanding of the game.  His teams always play attacking and positive football. I think that kind of style will be good for me."

 -Who are your idols in football? 

"Cristiano Ronaldo has impressed me since the early days of my career . However, I mostly play Paul Pogba’s style of football."

-You have seen the Beşiktaş Stadium, what are your impressions?

"It's a historic stadium with a great atmosphere. It's going to be fun to play on that pitch." 

-When will you adapt to the team? 

"I think it's up to me. There are players I know previously. They are all very good players, so it will be easy to play with them.”

-Who are the players you know? 

"Of course I know my teammate from Benfica Rafa Silva. I can also mention Gedson and my Braga teammate Al Musrati." 

-Do you have a matchday ritual? 

"On game day, I always put on my right foot on the pitch first and jump on it twice before going any further." 

-Which players do you know who previously played for Besiktas ? 

 "I know Quaresma. He was an excellent player, an incredible talent. I never forget his trivela shot." 

-What are your goals at Beşiktaş?

 "It would be great to win a national title here. I also want go as far as we can in the Europa League." 

-What is your message to Beşiktaş fans? 

 "I'm going to give my 100 percent. I will do my best to take Beşiktaş back to where it belongs.”
