"I've been with the team for only two and a half weeks. We are trying to create a new system. Its success  depends on the players. Depending on the ability of the players, the system may vary. We aim to create a strong starting eleven by bringing every player to the same level.

Some experienced players have joined the team. Paulista is a solid defender. Rafa has proved himself with great assists and goals. Ciro is a player who has scored goals in Serie A for years. I believe that Rafa and Ciro will contribute us with a lot of goals this season.

Our current squad  has too many players. We need to reduce the number a little. There will be some developments in this regard in the coming weeks. Right now, we are not at the desired level in terms of our physical shape. We are trying to build a strong team in all aspects and need a little more time.

Looking at the statistics from last season, it is clear that it was a difficult season. Our goal will be to score more goals and concede fewer goals.

It will be nice to start the new season with the Super Cup. We will try to beat Galatasaray and win that trophy. I've played a lot of these kinds of finals. It will be a good opportunity to test ourselves. 

I am happy to be at Beşiktaş and anxious to meet our fans in our home opener. We have a great stadium and create a good atmosphere with our fans there. We will also create memories that will not be forgotten for many years to come."
