Italian striker Ciro Immobile, with whom Beşiktaş started transfer negotiations, arrived in Istanbul together with Beşiktaş Vice-Chairman  Hüseyin Yücel, Press Spokesperson for Football  Feyyaz Uçar and Board Member Responsible for  Public Relations Burak Aslan.

After getting off the private plane Immobile spoke to Beşiktaş YouTube TV: "I'm very happy to be here and  ready to start the new season. I was very touched by the reactions of the fans here."

Beşiktaş Vice Chairman  Hüseyin Yücel also said the following at the airport: "I wish Beşiktaş and all our fans good luck for the new season.  We have kept our promise of making Beşiktaş stronger and will continue to do so. I would like to thank  two people. The first one is our Chairman, Hasan Arat, who followed the transfer process moment by moment and  never withheld his support. My other thanks go to Ciro Immobile for choosing us over SS Lazio who resisted a lot."

Beşiktaş  Press Spokesperson for Football Feyyaz Uçar added, "A world star is among us. Let's not talk too much. Our fans are anxious to see him on the pitch ." 

Beşiktaş fans presented flowers to Ciro Immobile at the airport  and cheered for him.
