Beşiktaş’ new addition  Rafael Alexandre Fernandes Ferreira da Silva landed in Istanbul with Club Vice Chairman Hüseyin Yücel and Men’s Football Team Spokesperson Feyyaz Uçar.

In an exclusive statement to Beşiktaş YouTube TV Channel the Portuguese midfielder said,  “It was easy for me to choose Beşiktaş because the club have great potential. Together with my teammates, we will work hard to win trophies and titles here. I know the atmosphere created by the fans so I'm very excited. I am also very happy to be the first to wear the new season’s jersey. I'm going to sweat this jersey with everything I’ve got."    Beşiktaş fans presented flowers to Rafa Silva and cheered for him at the airport.
