Beşiktaş JK Chairman Hasan Arat welcomed the faculty members and master's students in sports management from the University of Louisville, USA at Beşiktaş Tüpraş Stadium today. 

Mr. Arat presented the Eagle statue, the symbol of Beşiktaş, to the invited faculty members and students of the University of Louisville, and then took a souvenir photo with them. 

Fırat Fidan, Board Member responsible for Beşiktaş youth system and women’s soccer made a presentation to  Club’s American guests  on the development of women's soccer in Turkey and Beşiktaş’ role in this sports event . 

After exchanging views on possible joint projects, Beşiktaş agreed to help University Louisville in collaborating with other universities in Turkey. Meanwhile, University of Louisville declared Beşiktaş women’s soccer team as a sister team and discussed the issue of bringing talented female football players from USA to Beşiktaş.

At the end of the visit,  the guests from the University Louisville took a tour of Beşiktaş’ world famous Tüpraş Stadium and the Club’s museum and received information about the history of 121-year-old Beşiktaş sports club.
