Along with Beşiktaş United Payment and the Club’s Women’s Football Academy players,  Beşiktaş Board Members Altın Mimir, Işıl Zeybek, Kadir Kılıç, Fırat Fidan and Cenk Sümer, attended the Istanbul British Consulate’s “Women in Sports” activities today. British Consulate General in Istanbul has organised the event to support  women in sports and inspire the next generation of stars.   

To mark the event, Beşiktaş Board Members presented the Istanbul Consul General of the United Kingdom Kenan Poleo with a Beşiktaş jersey which was specially prepared  for the 100th Anniversary of Turkish Republic and an Eagle statue, the symbol of Beşiktaş JK. 

Within the scope of the event,  Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray football academy players held a joint training session under the direction of Stephanie Knott, the Head of Girls Football Development at Manchester United.
