"Our goal in Turkish Cup was to make it to the Final Four and then go after the title, but we didn't get what we wanted. We could not reflect our fighting power on the court enough today. I apologize to our fans for that. We will get the necessary lessons from this match and continue on our way by working harder. 

This season, we have rebuilt our team and the rebuilt squads need time. Despite this, we finished the Super League’ first half in the top three after so many years and reached the semi-finals stage of  the Turkish Cup. In addition, we managed to make it to the play-offs in a very difficult EuroCup group and  will do our best to advance to higher rounds.  

During this time, our Chairman Mr. Hasan Arat, our Board of Directors, the Head of Beşiktaş Basketball Department Mr. Umut Tahir Güneş and Beşiktaş Basketball  Executive Board gave us great financial and moral support and created an environment where we could fully concentrate on our game.  

We have a long way to go, and we will give our best to make our fans much happier.”
