Beşiktaş community commemorated the Commander-in-Chief of Turkiye's struggle for independence and the Founder of Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with a ceremony held in front of Tüpraş Stadium on the 85th anniversary of his death. 

Beşiktaş Chairman Ahmet Nur Çebi, Board Members,  Engin Baltacı, Emre Kocadağ, Ali Bayrak, Mehtap Ferah, players of Beşiktaş United women’s football team, Beşiktaş Football Academy sudents and the Club personnel attended the memorial service.   The ceremony, which started at 09.05 with a moment of silence while the whole of Turkiye stood as one heart, ended after the singing of Turkish National Anthem.
