Based on the importance Türkiye attaches to the Organization of Turkic States, Beşiktaş JK, which undertake to develop relations with brotherly countries in the field of sports, have signed a cooperation protocol with Neftchi Baku PFK from Azerbaijan . 

The protocol was signed by Beşiktaş Deputy President Emre Kocadağ and Neftçi Baku PFK CEO Farrukh Mahmudov at Beşiktaş Stadium. Beşiktaş JK Vice Chairman Engin Baltacı and Board Members  İbrahim Kemal Barış Dillioğlu and  Seyit Ateş attended the signing ceremony along with Beşiktaş Football  Inc. Board Members  Fırat Fidan, Adnan Demir and Elçin Kılıç. 

Within the framework of the signed protocol; there will be cooperation on issues such as playing friendly matches, use of facilities between clubs, dialogue between coaches, the right of players to play in both teams, joint activities in marketing and sponsorships, mutually licensed product sales, ticket rights, authority to open football schools in both countries. 

"We attach great importance to this cooperation. Furthermore, in cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States, we will continue to sign protocols with the clubs of brotherly countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan," Beşiktaş Deputy Chairman Emre Kocadağ  said at the end of  the event.
