After sending the  aid trucks sponsored jointly by the three major Istanbul sports clubs Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe to the earthquake-affected regions,  Beşiktaş JK Chairman Ahmet Nur Çebi talked to the press at Vodafone Park Earthquake Relief Center: “By dispatching these jointly organised trucks simultaneously from the stadiums of three big clubs in Istanbul, we are showing great solidarity and unity as a nation at these difficult times. We may be rivals on the field, but we are brothers off the field. In times of trouble, Türkiye has always acted as one. This is where our strength comes from.”
