After Abdelhamid Sabiri put the visitors ahead in the first half, Beşiktaş went on to dominate the pre-season game and levelled the scores on 65 minutes, thanks to a low drive from Dutch international striker Wout Weghorst, his first ever goal for the Black Eagles. Beşiktaş pushed for the winner in the remaining minutes and came close on several occasions but failed to find the back of the net.
