Dear Beşiktaş Fans,

As you all know, we will be celebrating four important events in the month of May. We will begin by observing the International Worker’s Day on May 1st, and then  follow it with the  Eid al-Fitr holiday to mark the end of holy Ramadan. After honouring our beloved mothers on Mother’s Day few days later, we will salute the 19 May Youth and Sports Day, gifted to us by the Founder of Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who also happens to be the Greatest Beşiktaş Fan of All Times.  The Youth and Sports Day carries a special meaning for Beşiktaş because the Club Founder Ahmet Fetgeri was instrumental in  establishing it. The key days of the year such as these unite us around common goals and shared values that  make our families and nation stronger. Therefore, I would like to thank all those who made them possible for us.

In the footsteps of Great  Leader Ataturk who once said, “I like the sportsman who is intelligent, agile and morally upright,” Beşiktaş JK, the pıoneering club in Turkish sports  with most sports departments  in Turkey, will always adhere to the principles of fair play and sportsmanship. This means that Beşiktaş JK Sports Academy is producing players that are not only worthy of Turkey but worthy of Europe as well.
