“I take full responsibility for the recent losses we’ve suffered, and I am open to all types of positive criticisms. On the other hand, it is a fact that the team have not fully recovered from the early-season injuries which have hit us real hard in important games. For the past couple of months,  we’ve been playing poorly at both ends of the pitch, and have failed to implement our game plan. Despite training hard and preparing well for the matches, we seem to lack the necessary concentration out there. I’ve been with the Beşiktaş community since my childhood days and I know how the fans feel right now. I am also not looking for any excuses, so I will not shy away from making the required sacrifices. As the reigning Champions, we must find a way to put an end to this slump.”
