Dear Beşiktaş Supporters,

In order to strengthen our squad for the Champions League, we added a number of new players to the team which won all available titles in Turkey last seaon. Our early results had shown that we were on the right track, but then a series of injuries began to hurt us badly. On the other hand, the performances of our young players coming up from the Beşiktaş Academy satisfied us more than we expected. This means that our youth system is producing well and paying dividends. Nevertheless, I hope the injured players recover and join us soon, so we can resume our business where we left off.

Despite a couple of defeats, we’ve still got four matches to play in the Champions League, and we are confident that we will finish the tournament in a respectable place. In Turkey, we will give our best to repeat the last season’s success.

We can achieve our goals only if we are strong financially at all times. To contribute to this aim, buy only official club merchandise and not the counterfeit ones! Please also warn the other fans, so they stay away from the fake and pirated goods!

We have not only reorganised our basketball, handball, volleyball and wheelchair teams from top to bottom but also renovated their playing venues of Süleyman Seba Sports Hall and Akatlar Sports Complex. With the motivation generated by this new climate, they have no place to go but up.

I take this opportunity to celebrate your 29 October Republic Day and express my gratitude to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk for entrusting us with a modern republic in which we live with pride and will live forever.
