Dear Beşiktaş Supporters,

 

As you have been following in sports news, our double-title triumph in men’s football is still being celebrated across Turkey and Europe. But football is not the only sports discipline we are engaged in at Beşiktaş JK. Our 118-year-old club have many other sports departments that require equal attention and commitment.

 

With this conviction, we opened new and modern training halls for Beşiktaş JK boxing and wrestling teams inside the Vodafone Park. In the meantime, I congratulate Ufuk Yılmaz for winning the world beach wresting title for Turkey and wish him lots of success in his future competitions. With their new sponsor Bahçeşehir College, our rhythmic gymnastics team have also moved to the Vodafone Park. I have no doubt that all these sports departments will continue to produce new champions for Beşiktaş and Turkey for many more years to come.

 

Under their new Coach Mehmet Korer Koral, the Beşiktaş JK men’s handball team are being restructured with young and talented players.  I hope our traditional rivals Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will soon join us in these disciplines and make them more competitive and more successful. With this opportunity, I thank all our athletes for winning many national titles for Beşiktaş in their recent events. Beşiktaş JK women’s volleyball team are also undergoing a major overhaul and hope to be back in the Super League next season. As you see, we are working day and night to keep the Beşiktaş flag flying high in all sports.
