Dear Beşiktaş Fans,

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, we are leaving behind a remarkably difficult year, not only for us, but for the whole world. And it looks as though the challenges caused by the COVID-19 will continue to be felt well into 2021. During these tough times, we have tried to ease the pandemic’s financial effects by organising fundraising events, limiting our expenses and turning to club’s own resources. I would like to thank you for the support and unity you have shown since the beginning of this unfortunate crisis.

Despite facing enormous difficulties, our club teams have managed to remain fit and competitive at high levels. Especially, our men’s football team led by their coach Sergen Yalçın, who is an own product of Beşiktaş, have become a top contender in Turkish Super League. I have no doubt that they will stay in the race until the final game of the season.

With this opportunity, I wish you a peaceful, prosperous,safe and a pandemic-free New Year! Please get your coronavirus vaccinations when they become available!
