Black and Whites took an early lead through Tyler Boyd’s close-range tap-in just after 6 minutes, but, the visitors recovered quickly and went 2-1 up with a brace from Bengali-Fodé Koita. Kasımpaşa remained ahead going into the half-time break. Kevin-Prince Boateng brought the sides back on level terms when he tucked home a fine cross from Jeremain Lens at the outset of the second half. In the remainder of the game, the galvanised Beşiktaş pressed for the winner but had wait until the final minute of regulation time to see their dreams come true. A diving header from substitute Güven Yalçın secured the three points for the home side and sent the Black Eagles to the 4th place in Super League table, keeping their hopes for a free ticket to Europe alive.
