Turkish Champions Beşiktaş Mogaz HT will represent Turkey at the VELUX EHF Champions League during the 2017/18 season. It is going to be their 11th appearance in the tournament. They are placed in Group D together with the HC Metalurg of Macedonia, HC Motor Zaporozhye of Ukraine, Montpellier Handball of France, Chekhovskie Medvedi of Russia and Sporting CP of Portugal.  In their opening game, the Black Eagles, face the Portuguese team Sporting CP on Sunday, 17 September at 17:00 TT. The Şehit Polis Recep Topaloğlu Sports Hall located in Kocaeli City will be the event’s venue.
