According to the draw that took place in Ljubljana, the Turkish Champions are placed in Group D of the Champions League with the HC Metalurg of Macedonia, HC Motor Zaporozhye of Ukraine, Montpellier Handball of France, Chekhovskie Medvedi of Russia  and a team coming up from the qualifying round. The group matches will get underway between 13-17 September 2017.
