In a move to be a serious contender in the Turkish League and Europe this season, Beşiktaş Sompo Japan signed the 2.11 m tall Serbian center Stimac (born 1987 in Belgrade) today. The powerfull international center played for a number of prominent European teams such as Zalgiris Kaunas, Ventspils, Unica Malaga, Bayern Munich and Estudiantes.
