Dear Beşiktaş Fans,

As the opening of our new stadium Vodafone Arena gets nearer, my excitement level is building up just like many of you. The installion of the new seats has already begun, and we are counting back the days. The agony of travelling from one venue to another will be over soon, and your Black Eagles will be able to play their home matches at our brand new shrine. The latest developments on this unique project are going to be shared with you at a meeting to be held next month.

Despite finishing the season’s first half in first place, we have strengthened our men’s football squad with three new players, Denys Boyko, Aras Özbiliz and Alexis Delgado. I welcome these talents to our club and look forward to seeing them in action before long.

As you all know, Beşiktaş’ first two matches of the season’s second half against Mersin İdmanyurdu and Trabzonspor were cancelled due to the poor weather conditions. These cancellations may cause some difficulties to our fixtures schedule, but since we are determined to lift that championship trophy this season, they will not to deter us from achieving our goal in any way.
