Trying to reach the EuroCup Round of 8, the teams fought real hard throughout the game and were tied at 57-57 going into the fourth quarter. The home side Istanbul University gained the upper-hand in the final stanza but could not make up for the 14-point loss from the first game.  Jelena Milovanovic led the qualifiers Beşiktaş with 22 points, while Cappie Pondexter and Luca Ivankovic poured in 17 points apiece.
