Beşiktaş women’s basketball team made a sluggish start into their third EuroCup Group A game at home defensively and trailed their Turkish visitors from Adana 43-38 at the break. However, their American guard Cappie Pondexter was virtually unstoppable in the second half to lead her team to an impressive EuroCup win at the Akatlar Arena. Pondexter poured in a game-high 30 points for the Beşiktaş.
