The visiting Black and Whites started out their fifth VELUX EHF Champions League Group A game at SG Flensburg-Handewitt flying and went ahead 6-3 after the opening 10 minutes, but then lost momentum and fell behind 16-14 going into the interval. Using their experience, the German hosts took advantage of Beşiktaş Mogaz HT’s unforced turnovers midway through the second half to sail to a comfortable 33:25 victory.
