Looking a bit tired from midweek’s Europa League away match, the Black Whites struggled to pose any serious threats in the first half and were down 1-0 on Dusko Tosic’s 23th-minute own goal. However, they got their act together in the second frame and levelled the matters on 67 minutes, through Gökhan Töre’s header. Beşiktaş upped the pressure in the remainder of the game but were unable to grab the winner.
