Skenderbeu 0-1 Beşiktaş

The visitors in Black and White from Istanbul made a flying start into their Group H opener at the Tirana, Elbasan Arena, and after a couple of close calls by Quaresma, took the lead on 28 minutes through a superb strike from Jose Sosa. Playing with more confidence, the Eagles could’ve extended that advantage before the break, but their finishing was off-target.  
 
In the second half, the game turned into an end-to-end battle as the Albanian hosts searched for the equaliser, but despite not finding the second goal to kill the match off, Beşiktaş held on to run out 1-0 winners.
