Determined to reclaim the Turkish Super League leadership, the Slaven Bilic’s men stormed out of the gates of the Osmanlı Stadium in Ankara to race to an impressive 3-0 lead at the break, with goals from Gökhan Töre, Demba Ba (P) and Olcay Şahan. A long-range Royston Drenthe free-kick at the outset of the second half reduced the deficit to two for the visitors, but the boys in Black and White responded in the 77th minute through Mustafa Pektemek, and Ramon Motta added another a couple of moments later to secure all three points for Beşiktaş that fired the Black Eagles to the top of the League table once again.
