Inspired by Niels Klapwijk’s spikes, the Black Eagles took the first two sets 25-23 and 25-20, only to fall behind 25-22 and 25-23 in the following sets and had to play a tie-break. Beşiktaş regained its earlier rhythm in the hotly-contested deciding set as they prevailed 15-12 for a hard-earned but well-deserved win on the road.
