Black Eagles drop a close one at home

Beşiktaş Mogaz vs. Orlen Wisla Plock 30:33

Hoping to pick up their second win in the VELUX EHF Champions League Group B, the Black Eagles, started the home game at the İzmit Şehit Polis Recep Topaloğlu Sports Hall with a line-up of Yunus Özmusul, Ivan Nincevic, Josip Buljubasic, Ömer Ozan Arifoğlu, Vedran Zrnic, Predrag Dacevic and Erwin Jan Feuchtmann Perez.

After Erwin Jan Feuchtmann Perez opened the scoring, Beşiktaş Mogaz trailed 3-1 in the 5th-minute, but thanks to goals from Ömer Ozan Arifoğlu and substitute Ramazan Döne, managed to draw level at 5-5 after 10 minutes. From then onwards, the teams traded goals until the break, with the Polish visitors clinging to a 15-14 lead.

The tight battle continued in the second half as the Black Eagles used the scoring of Predrag Dacevic, Tolga Özbahar and Ramazan Döne to stay in the game, but the unforced defensive errors by Beşiktaş Mogaz down the stretch  turned the game in Visla Plock’s favour for good.
