Playing with Şevket Gökhan Öztürk, Leonardo Caldeira, Adriano Lamb, Niels Klapwijk, Ahmet Arslan, Mustafa Kırıcı and Ahmet Karataş (Libero), the visiting Black Eagles grabbed the opening set 26-24, but the home side came back to claim the second 25-23 and made it one set apiece. Beşiktaş took the third set rather easily by the score of 25-17 only to fight hard in the fourth for a 28-26 win which enabled them to walk away with a 3-1 victory.
