In an attempt to boost their squad, Beşiktaş Mogaz handball team have signed veteran right winger Vedran Zrnic to a season-long contract. The internationally acclaimed handballer (born 1979 in Croatia) played for Wisla Plock of Polland in 2013/14 season but came to prominence with the German Bundesliga side VfL Gummersbach, where he won three European championships. He also led the Croatian national team to a numerous international titles which include a gold medal at the Athens 2004 Summer Olympics.
