The Black Eagles started their tournament opener with a line-up of Muratcan Güler, Kerem Tunçeri, Hilton Armstrong, Ryan Broekhoff and Jajuan Johnson. They traded baskets throughout the first two quarters and clung to a narrow lead of 37-35 at the half. Beşiktaş Integral Forex stretched their advantage to 60-49 heading into the final stanza but had to withstand a late challenge from the Belarusian team to claim a two-point victory. Ryan Broekhoff scored a team-high 17 points for the Black Eagles while Jajuan Johnson added 15 points of his own. With the win, they reached the 4-team tournament’s final which will be played tomorrow.
