Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
 
I would like to assure you that we are setting up this season’s football team with long-term goals in mind. Our Football Director Önder Özen and Manager Slaven Bilic are concentrating solely on players who are young and hungry for success. Instead of an aging and slow team which is full of expensive stars, they are putting together an athletic and speedy squad who will fight until the end of 90 minutes and thrill us all.
 
In the meantime, the construction of our new stadium Vodafone Arena is going on full steam, and we hope to complete it before the end of the new season. Just like you, I am impatient to see our Black Eagles rewrite the Turkish football history there.
 
Besides football, we want to be more competitive in our other sports as well. To this end, we have resigned Coach Müfit Arın of the last year’s Turkish handball champions and his players. We expect them to perform much better in Europe this season. I have no doubt that our new Basketball Director Mr. Yiğiter Uluğ, who have replaced Erman Kunter, will take us to new heights.   
 
Let us not forget the new Seref Bey and Mican primary schools the club opened in Anatolia last month. Beşiktaş JK has always been proud to help Turkish education system. Of course, none of this could happen without your contributions, so please continue to buy official Beşiktaş merchandise and season tickets.
