With a starting seven of Tolga Kırlı, Oğuzhan Büyük, Ömer Mercan, Josip Buljubasic, Şenol Boyar, Armi Part and Ozan Arifoğlu, the Eagles took a comfortable 20-11 lead going into the interval, but had to fend off a late surge by the visitors for a narrow victory at their Süleyman Seba Sports Hall. Ozan Arifoğlu scored 10 goals for Beşiktaş. With rhe win, Beşiktaş men's handball team closed out the regular season in first place with an impressive 24-1-1 record.
