In their final Group P game, Beşiktaş Integral Forex had to work real hard to defeat their Spanish hosts and join the last 16 teams in Eurocup. Thanks to a tenacious defence, the Eagles surged ahead 21-9 after the first quarter but blew that lead in the second to fall behind 41-36 at the break. Shooting better from the 3-point range, they got their act together in the second half and went back in front, 56-55, heading into the fourth quarter. The final stanza was an up-and-down affair right down to the wire, with Beşiktaş sneaking out a two-point victory at the buzzer. Chris Lofton, who unleashed a barrage of clutch 3-pointers in the dying minutes, finished with a team-high 25 points, while Deron Perkins and Tomislav Ruzic scored 13 points each for the victors.
