Stepping on the floor with a starting five of Petra Kulichova, Julie McBride, Begüm Dalgalar, Tuğba Taşçı and Iva Perovanovic, Beşiktaş women’s basketball team struggled to find baskets throughout the first three quarters and were down 60-41 going into the fourth. Despite outscoring their hosts 23-10 inthe final stanza, the Lady Eagles fell short of erasing the deficit as they allowed Tarsus to escape with a narrow win. Perovanovic finished with a team-high 19 points while McBride added 14 points for Beşiktaş.
