For their home game at the Süleyman Seba Sports Hall, the Turkish Super League leaders Beşiktaş men’s handball team took the floor with a lineup of Altuğ Taşdemir, Uğur Çoban, Ercan Aşıkoğlu, Şenol Boyar, Army Part, David Rasic  Ramazan Döne and opened up a 17-13 lead at the break. The visitors tried to close the gap in the early going of the second half, but the Eagles were able to fight off Izmir’s comeback attempt to record their 12th straight win without a loss.
