After a 29-29 draw in Istanbul, the Eagles pulled off a great victory in Switzerland to advance to the Round 3 of the European Handball Federation Cup. They held a 13-10 lead at the intermission and managed to hang onto it in the second half. The draw of the last knockout round before the Group Phase will take place on Tuesday, 22 October. With the participation of 32 teams, the first leg matches are scheduled for 23/24 November 2013, the second leg will follow one week later.
