Beşiktaş women’s volleyball team started their Turkish League opening match at the home court with a lineup of Zeynep Seda Eryüz, Natalia Hanikoğlu, Marina Tumas, Dicle Nur Babat, Selime İlyasoğlu and Gabriela Koeva. From the first serve, they battled to gain the upper hand and remained close to Eczacıbaşı, but their experienced opponents gradually proved to be too steep of a hill to climb, winning the sets 25-19, 25-18 and 25-18.
