Beşiktaş women’s basketball team started their Turkish League opener hot and were riding a 10-point, 44-34, lead at the half. However, despite falling behind by 22 at one point, the home side came back to even it up at 78-73 after the regulation time and then went on to eke out a 2-point victory. Perovanovic poured in 19 points for the Lady Eagles while Kulıchova had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
