The Black and Whites started out their EuroCup Group H opener at the Integral Arena with a lineup of Perkins, Iverson, Lofton, Breokhoff, Buckman and were down 29 27 at the break. They managed to pull within 39-38 going into the final quarter, but the visitors from Russia made better use of dying minutes in the fourth to walk away with a 4-point victory. Chris Lofton racked up a team-high 14 points for the Eagles.
