Eagles maintain first place with another away win

Bursaspor 0 - 3 Beşiktaş

Taking the pitch with an offensive lineup, the Eagles got off to a roaring start and jumped out to a 1-0 lead on 14 minutes, through Almeida who blasted home Olcay Şahan’s perfect pass from 7-yard out. While the home side struggled to recover, central-defender Sivok made it 2-0 for Beşiktaş with a 37th-minute header off Fernandes’ corner-kick and wrapped up the scoring for the first half.

The crowd at the Atatürk Stadium went silent again in the 62nd minute when Escude sneaked in behind the defence and finished well past Bursaspor keeper Sebastien Frey. The Eagles had several other chances to add to their tally but the score remained at 3-0 for the rest of the game. Beşiktaş have now won 4 straight in as many matches and sit atop the table with a perfect record.
